coai_120_logoThe COAI was constituted in 1995 as a registered, non-profit, non-governmental society. The Association is dedicated to the advancement of modern communication through the establishment of a world-class cellular infrastructure and to delivering the benefits of affordable mobile communication services to the people of India.

COAI core membership, which includes all the private cellular operators currently stands at 7 members companies, namely - Aircel Group, Bharti Airtel Ltd., BPL Mobile Communications Ltd., Vodafone Essar Ltd., Idea Cellular Ltd., Spice Communication Ltd. & Reliance Telecom Ltd. operating 135 networks (of Public & Private GSM Operators) by covering over 8000 cities and towns and 1 lakh villages and serving over 217 million subscribers across the country.

Over the years COAI has emerged as the official voice for the Indian GSM Industry and interacts directly with Ministries, Policy Makers, Regulators, Financial Institutions and Technical Bodies It provides a forum for discussion and exchange of ideas between these bodies and Service Providers, who share a common interest in the development of cellular mobile telephony. COAI also collaborates with other Industry Associations, etc, with the objective of presenting an industry consensus view to the Government on crucial issues

COAI also interacts with various international organizations such as ITU, GSMA, UMTS, etc. as well as the Press & Media to ensure that the issues pertaining to the cellular industry are discussed, understood and debated on a wider platform. To this end, the COAI also collaborates with other Industry Associations, etc, with the objective of presenting an industry consensus view to the Government on crucial issues relating to the growth and development of the Indian Cellular Industry. www.coai.in

CALogo_smallCentral Asian CDMA Forum (www.3gca.org) is an industry forum that works with regional Governments, Telecom Regulators, Operators, Broadcasters, Manufacturers, Academia and the general public in the Central Asian region including Afghanistan and Pakistan. The Forum's objective is to develop awareness and promotion of the 3G technologies, CDMA2000 and WCDMA/UMTS. The major focus area of the Forum is to impart CDMA and WCDMA/UMTS based trainings and support services in the region. It works closely with the industry and has established a CDMA Human Resource Development Center that caters to the CDMA and WCDMA/UMTS HR requirements for the entire region.

ISPAI_LOGO_smallThe Internet Service Providers Association of India (ISPAI) was set up in 1998 with a mission to 'Promote Internet for the benefit of all'. ISPAI is the collective voice of the ISP fraternity and by extension the entire Internet community. Over the years ISPAI has helped influence, shape and mould the telecom policies, so that ISPs and entrepreneurs in the business of Internet can setup and grow their services in an environment that is supportive and enabling.

Today ISPAI is the recognized apex body of Indian ISPs worldwide. ISPAI has access to and interacts frequently with international bodies and platforms and is frequently consulted by them on measures for future trends and growthof Internet. It works closely with the Government, the Regulator as well as the major Industry Chambers. It supports exchange of delegations, business visitors from across the globe which provides ISP members a chance to network widely and seek opportunities elsewhere too. ISPAI is a platform for the Solution Provider's community such as Hardware and Software manufacturer's and suppliers to gain easy access to their ISP clients, promote their products and services through personal meetings and through events supported or  sponsored by ISPAI.
